Finding messages, people, answers, and files has become a lot faster and more intuitive with this new feature. Microsoft have added a new ‘Microsoft Search’ page which shows the top results from each domain, bookmark, and acronym. The new search results page includes preview message results providing more context, more discoverable filters, and previews for files that are relevant based on the people and content you engage with most in Teams and other Office 365 apps.
You can now receive suggestions as you type in the search bar, showing the top results for your answer. In addition to searching for people, chats, and files, you can now search for meetings making it easier for you to find details about the meeting. Another new way you can find a meeting is by scrolling to past and future dates in the calendar using a date picker.
Already available on Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business, Customer Lockbox ensures that Microsoft cannot access your content to carry out a service operation without your explicit approval. To add an extra level of security to your data on Teams, simply tick ‘Require approval for all data access requests’ in the Microsoft 365 admin centre.
You can now display content from your Teams desktop to a wirelessly connected Teams Rooms using Teams casting. Additionally, you can broadcast your screen and cast content locally stored on your device or via Office 365.
You no longer have to send separate emails to invite guests to a webinar. When an attendee registers to a webinar, the invite will now automatically be added to their calendar. This allows attendees to plan ahead and adjust their schedule around the event.
