As part of our 5th birthday celebrations, we’re marking a special work anniversary for our talented IT Technician and technical guru, Jordan – who joined Infuse as an apprentice in 2014.
Since finishing his apprenticeship, Jordan’s gone on to fulfil numerous roles within the team before becoming our trusted IT Technician. We recently caught up with him to see how things have changed and what his highlights have been during his 5 years with us.
What first attracted you to Infuse?
Technology and fixing things have always been interests of mine, so when the opportunity arose to combine the two for work it was a no-brainer. Oh, and the money!
Could you provide an outline of your role and responsibilities at Infuse?
I work within the engineering team which essentially means that I visit clients to fix network or hardware issues when necessary, undertake IT projects such as Office 365 migrations and also assist the helpdesk when needed.
What inspires you in your job?
I love helping people and it’s really rewarding seeing their gratitude when a job is completed.
What has changed since joining Infuse 5 years ago?
A shift from older hardware systems to Cloud-based systems such as Office 365, Azure and SharePoint has been the biggest change. It’s great that we can access our work from anywhere – it just means that our processes are slicker, more efficient and more accessible.
What do you enjoy most about working at Infuse and why have you stayed?
The team! Joining the engineering team, in particular, has allowed me to interact with some brilliant individuals across both Infuse and our clients – it’s like two teams in one.
What is your greatest achievement at Infuse?
My first Azure migration – you never forget your first!
Have you got any top tips for any newbies joining Infuse?
