Make Your Server Work Harder.

Maximise your server resources through virtualisation

Virtualisation, in simple terms, is migrating physical servers to virtual machines and consolidating them.

Rather than having numerous servers all working on separate tasks, virtualisation takes all the computer power and creates a virtualised network which figures out the processing power of the combined servers, and allocates each task a portion of this total computing power.

A simple illustration of this is when a user switches on their own computer – we open Outlook, Word, Excel and a few other programs all from one rather than having a different computer running each of these. The virtualised network consolidates the computer power in the same way.

Benefits include:

  • Less hardware to manage
  • More uptime, less down time
  • Disaster Recovery built in
  • You can virtualise one server
  • Less power consumption – more green!
  • More flexibility
